Buffalo Creed

Being that I volunteered as a Buffalo, fully knowing the hazards of my chosen sport, I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor, and intense spirit of the Buffalo.

Understanding the fact that a Buffalo is a more elite rugby player who, arrives at the cutting edge of the game, near and far. I accept the fact that as a Buffalo my brothers expect me to be fitter and hit harder than any other rugby player.

Failing a fellow Buffalo is not an option. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically fit, and morally strong. And I will shoulder more than my share of the task, be great at what I am good at, and support the herd 100%.

Fiercely will I show the world, that I am a specially selected and well trained rugby player. My courtesy to my coaches, neatness of uniform, and spirit of tradition shall set the example for rookies to follow.

Aggressively I will meet the enemies of the Buffalo. I will defeat them on the field of battle, for I am fitter, better trained, and will fight with all my might. Surrender is not a Buffalo word. I will never leave a fallen brother to fall in the hands of the enemy. And under no circumstances will I ever embarrass our name.

Like a brother I will be there for my fellow Buffaloes, on and off the pitch. I will assist and mentor rookies to keep the herd growing and strong. And I will always lead from the front.

Understanding all this… I will… display the heart, loyalty, and honor required to fight on to the Buffalo objective and complete the mission, though I am the lone survivor.
